Overview

Challenge of the Courts - Lochtwain is a Challenge of the Courts event with a thematic color of Black. Each node features a different Black permanent support.

The event was introduced in November 2019 along with the Throne of Eldraine card set.

Special rules

Planeswalker color restriction	Black
Only planeswalkers with affinity to Black can be played.

Permanent support		A permanent support affects play on one or more nodes.

Side: Both	When an opposing creature dies: Your Knight and Warlock creatures get +2/+2.

Permanent support: Third Persistence Challenge
Side: Both	When a support card you own with the Food subtype is destroyed: Draw a card. Then, your opponent loses 2 life.

Hardened:  Cast 3 creatures with toughness 4 or more.	5
Adamant:  Match 30 or more Black gems with swaps during a single fight.	5

Permanent support: Final Persistence Challenge
Side: Both	Adamant - Black: At the end of your turn, if you control 2 or less creatures, return the first creature with base toughness 2 or more from your graveyard to the battlefield under your control. Then, that creature gets -1/-1.
