Garruk, Apex Predator is a black and green human Planeswalker, released in September 2024 along with release 6.8.1, after the Bloomburrow card set.
He has very high health and deck limits concentrating on creatures at the expense of supports. He has good mana gains in his colors, neutral White and Red, and a small minus to Blue.
Like the previous incarnations, his abilities revolve around creatures, but non-Token creatures, and creating a support which buffs his creatures each turn. He also has removal abilities including destroying random opposing cards (which can penetrate Hexproof and Ward), the Berserker attack he can create with his second ability, and gaining loyalty when Vanguards are destroyed.
Garruk, Apex Predator is the fourth of a number of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Garruk Wildspeaker at different points in his life.
