Overview

Vraska, Golgari Queen is a black and green gorgon Planeswalker, introduced in November 2018 along with the Guilds of Ravnica card set.

She has average health, average mana gains with a balanced spread, and average deck limits with a focus on Creatures.

Her abilities have minor themes around life levels and support reinforcements, including gaining life and spending a reinforcement for minor card draw and mana, and creating an indestructible support token which continues to grow and cause the opponent to lose life according to its size. She can also permanently degrade enemy creatures or supports.

Vraska, Golgari Queen, sometimes called V2, is the second of two playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Vraska at different points in her life.

Story

On Ixalan, Vraska encountered Jace Beleren—the Living Guildpact and a Planeswalker himself—and discovered the doom that Nicol Bolas planned to unleash on Ravnica.

Vraska asked Jace to hold on to her memories of him and Bolas's plans, resolving to live as a sleeper agent until the moment to return her memories, so she could retaliate against Nicol Bolas in defense of her home.
