Overview
Sarkhan, Fireblood is a red human Planeswalker, introduced in July 2018 along with the Core Set 2019 card set.
He has lower than average health, high mana gains with a slightly unbalanced spread, and average deck limits.
His abilities have a Creature summoning theme, including gaining mana in a creature card by discarding another creature, giving a creature card a permanent buff and mana bonus while in hand, and creating dragon creature tokens.
Sarkhan, Fireblood, sometimes called S2, is the second of three playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Sarkhan Vol at different points in his life.

Story
Sarkhan Vol's obsession with dragons led him to pledge loyalty to the mighty Nicol Bolas. But Ajani's victory over his master made his mind start to unravel. He was sent to Zendikar, where his festering madness contributed to the release of the Eldrazi—all according to Bolas’ secret plan. Sarkhan returned to his native Tarkir, travelling into ancient history to restore the dragons to his home plane.
