Urza, Lord Protector and Urza, Planeswalker are the two sides of a Transforming White and Blue human Planeswalker, introduced after the release of the set that documents his disastrous feud with his sibling and fellow Artificer - Mishra : The Brothers' War.
Urza has average health, very good Mana gains in his colors and good Spell and Support limits.
Lord Protector gains Mana and draws cards.
Urza, Planeswalker gains Life and summon Artifact Soldiers. He can Exile cards and destroy all enemy cards, at the cost of any non-vanguard and non-artifact cards he controls.
Each have a different version of the same Passive Ability : Impending Ignition, which is activated when they use Loyalty abilities.
As with Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, the transformation is permanent: Urza cannot return to Lord Protector once he has become Planeswalker.
