Karn, Scion of Urza is a colorless golem Planeswalker, introduced in April 2018, a month before the release of his origin card set, Dominaria.
Karn is an unusual Planeswalker, to say the least. He has many significant weaknesses, but powerful and/or unique abilities, some of which work to turn his weaknesses into strengths, and all extremely useful.
Being colorless, Karn can generally include cards of any color in his decks, as long as they share a color with the event node on which he plays.
He has high health and below average deck limits. His mana bonuses are perfectly balanced, but in total, as low as Origins Planeswalkers.
His abilities are, added together, the cheapest in the game: his first is tied for cheapest, and the second and third are the cost of many Planeswalkers' first and second abilities.
His abilities can also permanently increase his mana bonuses, as well as create a strong golem Token whose powers depend on how many Supports you control.
His abilities have a minor Exile theme, including returning cards from exile to hand with a small mana boost, and fetching a card from the library and exiling others.
Karn, Scion of Urza is the first of two playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Karn at different points in his life.

Story
The Planeswalker Venser sacrificed himself to free Karn’s mind and body, but Mirrodin, a plane Karn himself had created, was lost. Grief-stricken by the fate of his world and the death of his friend, Karn travels the Multiverse, retracing his steps to ensure the Phyrexian contagion has not taken hold elsewhere. Karn is constantly searching for more weapons he can deploy against the Phyrexians—which has brought him back once again to Dominaria.
