The original Magic the Gathering version of Oko gives him the ability to turn an opponent's creature into an Elk. While a drawback has been added to Reality Swap, the most powerful aspect of it remains: it can block all three lanes of the opponent's board. Lane blocking is usually achieved, and Reality Swap hurried along or enhanced, with cards like Turn to Frog, Sleep with the Fishes or Imprisoned in the Moon. Story
"Oko is from a plane ruled by Fey who believe in a unified society, where the ruling class has decided that for the betterment of all, the natural mischievousness of the Fey has to be suppressed. To them, they had created a perfect society;but for Oko, who was born with incredibly powerful shapeshifting abilities, this culture went against everything he was and contradicted his deepest, truest self."
