Killian, Decisive Mentor is a legendary creature that was turned into a Planeswalker, introduced in April 2026 along with the Secrets of Strixhaven card set.

He has low health and average deck limits which slightly favor Supports at the expense of Creatures. He has mana gains in all colours.

Unlike most planeswalkers, he has only two Abilities.

He has a Passive Ability: Focused Bolstering, which make him the very first adaptive planeswalker: his starting stats change according to the types of cards in the deck being currently used

Story

A competitive and driven Silverquill student, and son of Embrose, the Dean of Shadow. Killian had spent much of his time trying to live up to his strengths and skills. During the Invasion Killian knew his magic could not overpower the Phyrexians alone, and he focused on bolstering his allies. The sense of pride he felt seeing others flourish encouraged him to continue to hone his supportive skills. Though he does not shy from cutting words as well; sometimes the best way to help people is to stop others from harming them. He currently acts as a student mentor to new Silverquill students and is considering running for student government.
