Overview

The Royal Scions are Will and Rowan Kenrith, a pair of blue and red humans who together comprise a single playable Planeswalker. They were released in November 2019 along with the Throne of Eldraine card set.

They have higher than average health, average mana gains with a balanced spread, and average deck limits.

Their abilities focus on Red and Blue cards, including buffing creatures of those colors and disrupting the opponent based on cards of those colors in hand. They can also discard to draw more cards.

The Royal Scions are the first of three playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody the Kenrith twins at different points in their lives.

Story

Rowan and Will Kenrith are the eldest children of King Kenrith, high king of Eldraine. Their stepmother Queen Linden (mother of their younger siblings) became regent after their father went missing under suspicious circumstances.

Rowan and Will, having just come of age, set out to rescue him.
