The Royal Scions are Will and Rowan Kenrith, a pair of blue and red humans who together comprise a single playable Planeswalker. They were released in November 2019 along with the Throne of Eldraine card set, and reflect the dual nature of that set's Adventure  mechanic.

They have higher than average health and average deck limits.

Their abilities focus on Red and Blue cards, including buffing creatures of those colors and disrupting the opponent based on cards of those colors in hand. They can also discard to draw more cards. Adding to their duality is their second ability being as cheap as their first; in a sense, they have a pair of cheap abilities.

The Royal Scions are the first of a few playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Rowan and Will, the Kenrith twins, at different points in their lives.

Story
