Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh is a Blue human Planeswalker, introduced in March 2022 along with the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty card set.

He has low health and his creature and spell deck limits are low; his support limit is correspondingly high. His Support limit is second only to his predecessor and alter ego Tezzeret, the Seeker, and Wrenn and Six.

At release, he had the highest Blue mana bonus in the game, ahead of Jace, Mirror Mage, and the second highest bonus of any color, behind Koth of the Hammer's and Jaya, Fiery Negotiator's +9. TBoF gets +6 Blue mana bonus remarkably early, at level 12.

Typically, Tezzeret's abilities revolve around artifacts, and Betrayer of Flesh is no exception. He has abilities that draw cards, gain mana, and creature tokens; all of which are enhanced by artifacts. His second ability creates a virtuous circle of maintaining artifact supports on the board and gaining mana based on the number of artifacts controlled. His final ability creates a creature with Unblockable  and Hexproof  and gives it a buff based on the number of artifacts controlled.

Tezzeret gets one of the Passive Abilities introduced by the AFR set; his is called Mind Over Metal, and restores the shields of all of his artifacts when he matches the gem of one of them; once each turn.

Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh, sometimes called T5, is the fifth of several playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Tezzeret at different points in his life.
