Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a colorless elder dragon Planeswalker, introduced in May 2019, a couple of months after the release of the Ravnica Allegiance card set.
He has higher than average health and average and balanced deck limits. As is often the case with colorless Planeswalkers, his mana bonus total is lower than the 7 of other colorless and tri-color PWs. His is +5; +1 to each color.
His abilities have a creature destruction and color leeching themes. He can damage a creature and gain permanent mana bonuses according to its colors, or exile a creature and an additional support if the creature wasn't colorless. His ultimate ability is a powerhouse of life gain, card draw, and mana gain.
Ugin's rune cost to increase levels is the same as the cost to level a mono-colored Planeswalker (79,920 ). This is in contrast to the cost of the other released colorless Planeswalkers, Karn, Scion of Urza and The Eldrazi Desolation, whose leveling costs match that of three-color Planeswalkers (323,750 ). At the time of release, Ugin's relatively low leveling cost has not yet been confirmed as a bug.
Ugin is the first of a small number of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody the construct Planeswalker Karn at different points in his life.

Story
"Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a Planeswalker, and he is ancient beyond measure. His long life has given him a unique perspective on the Multiverse; he sees it as an unbroken whole and seeks to understand its deepest mysteries.
He has studied the energetic patterns of entire planes—their creation, destruction, and renewal—and he has applied these universal principles to creating his own form of magic. Ugin's magic deals with the transmutation of matter into energy, and it is a power that can be wielded by all."
