Overview

Ajani, Strength of the Pride is a white leonin Planeswalker, released in October 2019 along with the Core Set 2020 card set.

He has lower than average health, high mana gains with a slightly unbalanced spread, and average deck limits with a focus on creatures.

All of his abilities gain life. He can also give his creatures Lifelink , and strengthen them each time he gains life. His ult can Exile all opposing creatures and Artifact supports.

Ajani, Strength of the Pride, sometimes called AJ4, is the fourth of four playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Ajani Goldmane at different points in his life.

Story

Ajani's beliefs have evolved over the years. When his spark first manifested (over the loss of his brother), he believed that channeling his rage towards avenging his fallen loved one was the correct path. He let his seething rage drive him forward, ignoring how his actions affected those around him. However, spending time with Elspeth morphed those views and, ultimately with her death, showed him that his fury wasn't the correct path to inner peace.
