Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast is a red human Planeswalker, released in May 2020 along with the Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths card set.

He has higher than average health and average deck limits. He has good mana bonuses in three colors and poor in two.

His abilities revolve around Creatures and his Exile zone. He can fetch creatures with mana and buff them, with the strength of his mana gains and buffs equal to his cards in Exile. Exile synergizes well with the Cycling  that was Standard at the time of his release, and given to creature cards by his first ability.

Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast is the first of a small number of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Lukka at different points in his life story.

Story

Lukka was once a member of the Coppercoats, a military force sworn to protect the city of Drannith from Ikoria's monsters. Committing the crime of bonding his soul with a winged tiger, Lukka was marked to die, by General Kudro. The former soldier then decided to weaponize the monsters to take control over Drannith, by controlling the creatures with the power of the crystal known as the Ozolith.
