Venser, the Sojourner is a White and Blue Planeswalker whose release was announced on March 18, 2025 with the 7.1.1 release notes on the MtGPQ forums, after the Aetherdrift card set. Venser is a legacy Planeswalker and doesn't appear in the Aetherdrift story line.

Story

Venser was the best among Dominaria’s inventors in the days of old. During the fall of Mirrodin, Venser made an ultimate sacrifice, giving his life and spark to Karn. Unfortunately, his corpse was reanimated and used by New Phyrexia during the Phyrexian Invasion of the Multiverse.
