Ral, Izzet Viceroy is a blue and red human Planeswalker of the Guild of Izzet in Ravnica, introduced in November 2018 along with the Guilds of Ravnica card set.

He has lower than average health and average deck limits with a focus on Spells. He has very good mana gains in his colors, neutral from White and Black, and a -2 to Green.

His abilities have a Spells theme, including dealing damage and gaining mana according to the spells in his graveyard, and creating a support Token  which deals damage and draws cards whenever he casts a spell. He can also choose a card amongst the top cards of his library, with a mana bonus.

Ral, Izzet Viceroy is the first of a small number of playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Ral Zarek at different points in his life.
