Tezzeret the Schemer is a blue and black human Planeswalker, introduced in March 2017, a couple of months after the release of the Aether Revolt card set.
He has lower than average health and low deck limits. He has fair mana gains in Blue and Black, descending a point at a time through White Red and Green. Like Saheeli Rai from the set before his, he has more than the normal total mana bonus for the number of his colors; dual walkers usually have a plus eight, and he has a +9 bonus total.
His abilities have a Fabricate theme and an Energize sub-theme, including creating Fabricate Tokens and Energizing gems, creating an artifact creature Token which Fabricates each turn and grows by consuming Energized gems, and creating a support Token which damages his opponent when his Fabricate Tokens or other supports are destroyed.
Tezzeret the Schemer, sometimes called T2, is the second of several playable Planeswalkers in MtGPQ which embody Tezzeret at different points in his life.

Story
"Temperamental and cruel, Tezzeret wields his incomparable skills as a magical artificer to coerce what he desires out of situations and people alike. He is adept at metallurgy, capable of shaping metal to his will and animating constructs to do his bidding. Much of his body has been replaced or augmented by the magic-infused alloy known as etherium, which is found on Esper, a shard of the plane of Alara and Tezzeret’s birthplace. His etherium limbs are stronger and lighter than flesh and bone, immune to the elements, numb to pain, and resistant to physical assault. This gives him an advantage in combat, albeit one he rarely relies on; he prefers to send his metal constructs to battle rather than risking his own life.
Tezzeret trusts only himself, and he uses his acquaintances and allies as means to his ends. Observant and calculating, he is able to assess exactly how far he can push his associates in his service—and how far he can push his foes toward their deaths. He calibrates his approach to his relationships: he can come off as irrational and vengeful, feign concern and attentiveness, or do whatever else is most effective for manipulating conditions to suit his needs.
Tezzeret serves the dragon Planeswalker Nicol Bolas, and his forehead is marked with a tattoo of Bolas's horns. It is this service that has recently brought him to Kaladesh. Bolas had tasked him with procuring a device capable of transporting non-living matter across the Multiverse, and Kaladesh—with its brilliant inventors and readily accessible aether—seemed the most fertile ground for the development of such an engineering marvel. Using his charisma to win over the people’s hearts and his talents as an engineer to sway their minds, Tezzeret secured a place as Head Judge of the Inventors’ Fair of Ghirapur. From there, he worked his way up until he gained control of the Consulate.
Tezzeret has bent all of Ghirapur to his will. He took the elvish inventor Rashmi hostage to complete the Planar Bridge, imposed martial law to prevent renegade inventors from hampering his plan, and diverted all of the City’s aether flow to his laboratory. Soon his plan will come to fruition—as long as the Gatewatch doesn't interfere."
