Overview

While Story Mode is a great place to start playing, Events are the mainstay of Magic The Gathering: Puzzle Quest. Daily Events allow players to gain steady rewards and grow their card collections to compete in larger PvE and PvP events.

Icon descriptions

Icon		Description
Event types
		PvP - Play against the decks of other players.
		PvP Coalition - Play against the decks of other players. Only members of a coalition may join the event. (Icons used in-game: )
		PvE - Play against special event-specific decks and Planeswalkers.
		PvE Coalition - Play against special event-specific decks and Planeswalkers. Only members of a coalition may join the event. (Icons used in-game: )
		Standard / Legacy: Decks in a Standard event may only contain cards in Standard sets. Decks in a Legacy event may contain cards from any set.
Rewards
		Progression rewards - Gain rewards as your score passes pre-determined reward levels.
		Placement rewards - Gain rewards according to your individual ranking at the end of the event.
		Coalition rewards - Gain rewards according to your coalition ranking at the end of the event.
PW rules
		Color restriction - You can only use a Planeswalker that shares at least one color with the node's colors.
		Locked nodes - Once a Planeswalker has been chosen for a node, it's locked in for the whole event.
		Planeswalker requirement - One or more nodes can only be played with a required Planeswalker.
Flavor
		Duel Decks event - The event is a Duel Decks event. One of two duelling Planeswalkers is unlocked and selected in the Challenge Phase, followed by games against the opposing Planeswalker in the Duel and Final Duel phases.
		Boss Health event - All wins diminish a global boss health pool. The event ends when the boss hp reaches 0%.
		Permanent support - A permanent support affects play on one or more nodes of the event.
		Special rules - Ongoing special rules affect play on one or more nodes of the event.
		Bonus cards - On some turns, or at the start of the game, the player draws an additional bonus card from outside their deck
Boosts
		Enraged - On one or more nodes, after 5 turns, one or both players become Enraged and deal double damage.
		Supercharged - On one or more nodes, one or both players become Supercharged and gain +3 mana on each match (immediately, or after 5 turns).
		Legendary - On one or more nodes, after 3 turns, one or both players become Legendary, and gain both the Enraged and Supercharged effects.
